Migration of Black-headed Gulls Chroicocephalus ridibundus

MRG has ringed over 6,000 Black-headed Gulls, more than half of them during the 1990s in a programme of cannon-netting on landfill sites in the Warrington area. These ringed birds, plus those already wearing rings, have provided movements to or from every country around the North Sea.
